That’s a wrap! April was a huge month of weddings in our Coffs Coast area!

As always Coffs Harbour always keeps us on its toes with the weather. We faced that dilemma on a Saturday at a private wedding at a residence in Sawtell.

The predictions were for rain but the set-up was beautiful on their veranda against the backdrop of the beautiful Bonville Waters. The Brides Mum did want to make the call to move the decorative arbour and chairs under cover but everyone else was sure we would be fine! The ceremony started with a fun song and the bridesmaids danced in and set the tone for this fun wedding. We got to the vows and the sprinkles of rain started and then I noticed the bridesmaids starting to share the canopy with us and then the heavens opened!!! I quickly pronounced them husband and wife and “You may kiss the bride” and next thing we all ran! We brought the signing table under cover and wrapped up a truly special wedding and then the party started!!

I then had the honour of marrying a great couple at Korora at the Paradise Palms Chapel on a Sunday-a great venue with an onsite restaurant called Pasfields. I had been working with this couple for nearly 2 years and it was great to get to their day-their gorgeous youngest son would not leave their side and was even part of the kiss! But that is family and who cares! That’s what I love about what I do-working in with the couples and their families and really there are no rules-I am so mindful that the day belongs to you! April was then finished off with a great big wedding at Aanuka Beach Resort. I had been working with Callie and Mitch from Cobar for ages and they are awesome! Callie was a super organised bride but a totally relaxed bride. With around 150 guests who mostly travelled, she was so cool. No details was left unturned and I so loved being a part of their day. My brother and sister in law who we are very close to are from Cobar so I knew quite a few guests so this was so rewarding for me.

May rundown on its way………….
