Choosing the wedding date, don’t leave it too late!

Photo by Lyss and Her Camera-Narrowing down when you want to have your wedding is no easy task.December is a popular month for me to meet with clients for next year and sometimes even the following year of 2016. It is a time when many couples think about “locking in” their date. The dilemma is often around what month and day will be the best considering such factors as the venue, the preferred suppliers and time of the year. Many weddings in Coffs Harbour are often people from interstate who choose our beautiful coast to say “I do” and so they need to consider convenient travel times too which means thinking about long weekends and holiday breaks. On the downside, public holidays, in particular Easter and Christmas, can be an expensive time to travel. In the end, you must decide what’s best for you and the majority of your close family and friends. Once you’ve set the date, stick to it. Everyone will have to deal with it. My only other advice is to not leave it too late-the sooner you can organise the date and who you would like to have involved, the better, as places book out quickly and so do suppliers.Good luck and remember you will be celebrating your wedding anniversary for many years to come!
